Decoding Timber Towers competition, SOLIDVOID addresses the dual crises of housing affordability and climate change . Our proposal utilizes a single prefabricated mass timber module to generate a diverse vertical community . By stacking solid modules in a staggered pattern, we activate the empty spaces between them as habitable "voids," significantly reducing the volume of manufactured components required .

The project is grounded in biophilic thinking, lifting the structure on a cast-in-place table to preserve 75% of existing vegetation and restore a historic stream as a public amenity . With a projected 66% reduction in build time and a 40% reduction in embodied carbon, SOLIDVOID demonstrates that rapid, standardized construction can still yield culturally resonant and ecologically sensitive architecture .
